The client
Dr. Regine Muradian is a licensed clinical psychologist, author, speaker, consultant, and mental health advocate. In her clinical practice, Dr. Regine works with children, adolescents, adults, and couples who present with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and adjustment problems, such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, Executive Functioning, and ADHD. Dr. Regine guides her clients to achieve inner peace first, in order to discover where the conflict or stressor originates.
Her first self-published children’s book, Franky and the Worry Bees, was released in September 2020. When COVID-19 hit in March 2020, Dr. Regine found how difficult it was to connect with patients over a screen, so she began to use a lot of illustrations—thus, the idea for her book was born.
The situation
Dr. Regine came to us with her passion project, a children’s book series, starring Franky. She was exploring a variety of book promotion ideas and got on the phone with us. We clicked right away—Dr. Regine grew up in the South of France, speaks five languages, and shares our values.
The pandemic showed no signs of slowing down, and we encouraged Dr. Regine to take the leap and publish her first book as soon as possible; it tackled such relevant and timely topics when it came to stress and anxiety.
Right out of the gate, we were able to secure Dr. Regine opportunities to provide her expert commentary in top-tier outlets such as Huffington Post, Healthline, Lifehacker, FabFitFun, Nike Coaching, and Architectural Digest. She has also consistently appeared on well-known podcasts and talk shows.
With the pandemic at play, we created virtual options for Dr. Regine to read her book via social media and Zoom to school children, parents, mental health clinics, and more.
Dr. Regine is currently finishing her next book in the Franky series and we are developing a media relations strategy around this project.
